  • Sunday, February 28, 2027: the end date, not counted
  • Days counted

How it counts

  • The start date is counted, and the end date too when “Include end date” is checked: from Monday, November 1 to Friday, November 5, 2027, including the end date, is 5 days, and without it is 4 days. The order of the dates doesn't matter.
  • Without the end date, the days are those that the add/subtract calculator adds to the start date to reach the end date, and months are counted as it adds them. When the month is too short for the start date's day, its last day is a whole month after it: from January 31 to February 28, 2027 is 1 month, and from January 30 to March 1, 2027 is 1 month and 1 day.
  • Working days are the weekdays other than the holidays of the region you choose (federal holidays in the United States, bank holidays in England and Wales, federal statutory holidays in Canada or public holidays in New South Wales, Australia, from 2011) and the weekdays they are observed on. They are counted as the NETWORKDAYS function of spreadsheets counts them, with the start date: from Friday, July 2 to Tuesday, July 6, 2027, including the end date, are 2 working days, as Independence Day is observed on Monday, July 5. The add/subtract calculator counts from the day after the start date, as WORKDAY does.
  • Working days, and the days of the week, are counted for periods of up to 3 years.
  • For days off of your own, such as vacations, mark them on the working days calendar.
  • Dates are in the Gregorian calendar, from 1900 to 2100.
